Is there a cost to get a price?

The price is free to see. You pay a $49 booking fee when you're ready to move forward — it's fully refundable if we can't match you with a pro, and credited toward your total if you book.

What if I don't like the price?

Walk away. There's no pressure and no account required just to see the number. If the price doesn't work for you, that's the whole point — you found out before you committed.

What if my project is more complex than the intake captured?

Our system is built to ask the right questions upfront. If something genuinely couldn't have been known at intake — a rotted subfloor, something hidden behind a wall — we'll scope that separately and clearly before any work begins. The price doesn't change for reasons you didn't cause.

Who pays the pro — me or Electrum Home?

You pay Electrum Home. We pay the pro. You never hand cash to anyone on site, and you're never negotiating a final number at the door.

What if something goes wrong after the work is done?

Your pro's workmanship warranty covers the work itself — the terms vary by trade and are shown at booking. For broader coverage, you can add the Electrum Home Protection Plan when you book. If a warranty claim isn't being honored or a dispute comes up, that's when Electrum steps in — the platform is the protection layer for scope and payment, not a general support line.

How do you vet the pros?

Before any pro is dispatched, we verify their state license is active and their liability and workers' comp insurance are in force — every pro, every project. You see their license number and insurance credentials before they show up.
